Which are you most anticipating?

Of course I'm interested in the playoffs, but unless things change in the next few weeks...ie Lebron goes down for an extended period of time, it's just not gonna happen for us this year.

Now the draft lottery...that #1 pick could alter our future whether we trade it for a superstar or pick a hopeful future superstar.

I think I'm more anxious for the lottery  8)

Playoffs.  want them to get as far as possible.   the bonus to a deep run (optimistic viewpoint) is that it shortens the time from when their season is over until the night of the draft.  once the C's are done playing, the basketball season is over as far as I'm concerned.

Not so much worried about the lottery itself.

Worried or looking forward to? I'm most worried about the playoffs, another first round exit or even a second round loss to a team like Toronto or Washington would hurt. I'm most looking forward to the lottery though, I have never seen the Celtics land the #1 pick.

I'm eager to see them win a playoff series.

Anything after that is gravy.

Draft lottery is the next thing I'm excited about after that.

Playoffs.

I will think about the possible improvement to the team after the season.

I don't like to have choose between them because we can have both.  The chance that the Celtics are still playing in June is very small.  Therefore, I will:
1) Enjoy the playoffs then...
2) Enjoy the lottery

I'm hoping a deep playoff run will be a trigger for a FA to join the team, thinking we're only a piece or two away from serious contention.

But will IT be someone that attracts a FA or a deterrent?  I'm worried he may be getting a Carmelo-type reputation with his ball-dominant style.

You mean like other elite points guards such as Westbrook and Harden?  Yeah, who would want to play with them?

Not Kevin Durant?

You can argue that Steph Curry is ball-dominant too, just less so in the GS movement offense.

The larger point that this is now a guard-oriented league and point guards are much more ball-dominant generally than in past NBA eras.
