Guys, we are tied in the number of losses with Raptors and are only .5 games from the #2 seed. Additionally, Cleveland has struggled, and we are 3.5 games out of 1st in the eastern conference.

Will we win in a 7 game series against these teams? Maybe, maybe not – if we can sneak in and get that #2 or even #1 seed, our chances only get better.

Too much pessimism on this forum; I think there's a lot to be excited about.

Me too. It's a good time to be a Celtics fan.

Team showed me today that we can bring back last year's defense when we're focused.  This year's offense + last year's defense and we might be favorites against Toronto.

Yep. When they're playing actual D, there's no reason to be pessimistic. We're right at a contending team level when we're playing on both sides of the ball, especially when we're forcing turnovers and getting out into the open court.

But the problem is we just simply haven't played defense with that type of intensity at all this season other than a few select moments, and that's where the pessimism is derived from.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Yeah what's been ignored in our slump is that Cleveland + Toronto have been slumping harder. But Atlanta's catching up quick. Who's up for another 4-way tie??
