This is where I stand with each individual player.
Smart - we have to retain him or else what we've been doing so far (playing 30+ mins a game and allowing him to tarnish his trade value with such bad shooting performances) would make no [dang] sense. Smart is beloved by the organization for his flashes of uber-competitiveness and has not made a name for himself in the league to command anything north of 10 million, when it's all said and done he could become one of the all time greatest career backups playing 15 mins a night. I'm being facetious but that's still valuable enough. Expectations will need to be reset.
Rozier - I know it's just his second year but he has not been all too successful using that speed Stevens was raving about, guy is having trouble attacking defenses and it completely freezes the offense. I would keep until next year, and have him fight the Nets pick for a rotation spot.
Brown - Guy is already one of the more useful offensive players we have and he's raw but not scared to get physical... which I think highlights why he could become a two way player since his shot has been more promising than RJ's and Young's combined. He'll be a starter in this league and he'll get there faster once he learns off ball play and has a PG that will actually look for him.
Young + prospect farm - James Young, should be gone. Danny picking up any option of his will be criminal. Let guys like Nader and DJ come in and fight for that spot next year, our foreign first round selections last year should come over and gain NBA experience too.
Kelly - Jeff Green. Trade or let walk.
Jerebko - Trade or let walk.
Zeller - Trade or let walk.
Amir - Trade or let walk.
Green - Trade or let walk.
Crowder - This team can not lose the only guy that can play SF.
AB - AB gives me hope that we can develop good players here, and one day maybe star players. I think his value is at an all time high and he has 1.5 years left. Selling high is possible. However, I don't feel comfortable that our current guard prospects can fill his shoes.
Horford + IT - One guy who's decline you know is around the corner, another you're almost certain won't be able to keep it up pushing 30. We don't let them walk, we should sell high.
Nets picks - The X-factor in all of this. I would love for these two picks to be an all star guard with no giant hole in his game and a star big man that can play Stevens style and rebound AT THE SAME [dang] TIME.
