Would you trade Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Tyler Zeller, and a Brooklyn 1st for Demarcus Cousins?

Yes
No
Maybe but only if I could tweak one of those assets

I'd actually want to keep Brown and the Nets 2017 pick and send them AB. Along with Nets 2018, Grizzly 1st, Clippers 1st, C's 2018 1st.

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=j6sszwk

Starters=IT, Brown, Crowder, Horford, Cousins
Bench=Rozier, Green, JJ, AJ KO
Reserve=DJ, Young, Mickey, Lab

2017
Draft Fultz he can play Smart's role. Resign KO or AJ and bring in Zizic.

Cousins is amazing and only 26, but two things jump out at me:

In the peak of his career with a bruising inside game, he's still only a 45% shooter.

He does not have full control of himself.

I'd say no, but it is a fair deal. He'd likely fit in well here.

Well...

That's a lot...

We would be getting rid of a lot of our future assets.

It would be tough, but I would see if they would instead want Rozier, any of our future picks besides the 2017.

I'd rather give them the brooklyn pick. Say we win the lottery and draft Fultz. Even say he turns into an allstar. How long would that take? At least 3 years? Trading for Cousins means we are trying to win now.

I would try to replace Smart by maybe 2 or 3 smaller players of even picks (we got so much anyway...).
