Poll: 2017 Nets pick for Jabari Parker

A little surprised this is so one sided. If it's the fifth pick then it's a no brainier for the Celtics.

 Don't you guys want to be good sooner than later? Parker in 21 years old and is a legit go to Guy. Thomas and Parker would be a great one two punch right Now. If we signed Milsap we would be an elite team next year.

 Tell me who you want over Jabari Parker? Let's say Fultz and Ball are gone. You really want Jackson or Tatum over Parker?

In addition to really liking Ball and Fultz a lot more than Parker, I also like Dennis Smith and Jonathan Issac more than Parker.

So that's six players I like more than a trading the Brooklyn pick for Parker.  Parker looked like he could have been a super star, but now we know its not gong to happen.   We are going to need a real super star to get past the Warriors and Cavs. This draft is looking like the best in a really long time.   I am ready to take a chance on a super star vs a rotationally player.  Besides these players look to be good rotational players at worst and lean towards really good to great. 

That said, I'd trade for parker if it didn't include the Brooklyn pick or Brown.  I'd gladly give up Rozier and the rights to Yabusele for Parker.

I'm not against Parker if they sign Millsap. Not sure they need him, though, with Brown and Crowder at the 3. Millsap would be the key, but others have pointed out he is over 30 (32 next year). But Millsap is a terrific all around 4--maybe the best, and he complements Horford well. My guess is Danny can get him, with Horford here. Then things would really get interesting.
