Interesting. Jokic has clearly passed him. How much would he cost

I like Nurkic and was really high on him going into the season to the point here I wanted us to trade for him. Now that he seems to have regressed I'm just content to sit back wait for Zizic to make his way over.

If Nurkic can't find minutes in Denver, while it wouldn't be impossible for him to find minutes here but it'd be fairly unlikely. He'd be have to fight for Zeller limited minutes who for all of his faults is rock steady health wise, fine with a bench role and already understands Brad's system. Nurkic has shown nothing in his career to make me think he'd be ready to step in and walk on this team.

Not sure about Nurkic....could be had for little I suppose at this point.  A late first rounder?  A guy on Boston's bench not getting any minutes but still holding promise (Young, Jackson, Mickey?).  Probably wouldn't cost us much, so I can't say I'm against trading for a big on a rookie deal.

Now Jokic, on the other hand I would trade a Nets Pick for in a heartbeat!

Denver's a mess. Mudiay makes Smart look like an offensive weapon. Gallo has plateaued at "kind of good." They are playing rotation games with Jokic, their best player. Faried is good but not great, and they are playing mix-and-match with his role too. Nurkic hasn't progressed and has a -10 net plus-minus. Will Barton and Wilson Chandler are good...if you're looking for a 7th man.

Somehow they've managed to reduce the trade value of everyone on the roster, simultaneously. It's sort of impressive, I guess.

But anyway, yeah I think someone is going to fleece them before the deadline. Maybe it can be us.
