The defense lately has been really good. The big difference seems to be less small ball lineups.

Can any of the advanced stat gurus here break down the difference with lineups.

Al Horford is back and good.  That is my statistical analysis.  We are actually healthy and have had a few games together now.  Dude has been a beast at the end of games the last couple.  I think it's just more everyone is healthy and we are  seeing what this team was supposed to be finally.

If Amir can get his mojo back the defence can improve even more. I think there are signs. With all the trade talks around bigs and two young guys in the wings doing well, this is a very important time for his career. He needs to prove he has more than just holding a spot until something happens.

Ultimately that could be what he is doing (holding a spot). If one of the hyped trades fro a younger big occurs, then Amir may not get on the floor with everybody fit.
