I hate seeing that headline the past 2 days. If it was the old rebounding David Lee who just had his minutes cut for no reason- I could understand the "revenge" factor. But when the Celtics got David "Birthday Cake Everyday" Lee- I see no justification of revenge or that sense that the Celtics did David wrong. He was out of shape. He admitted to this. Sullinger even said Lee was taking food from his plate on road trips.

So David Lee actually took one for the team? Interesting how Lee is actually a Sully casualty.

At the time, a few CBer's wrote that Danny may have enhanced his position with future signings by letting Lee walk without getting compensation. I thought it was a dumb move feeling that they could use  him in case someone got hurt. Sure enough, Kelly got injured shortly afterwards. And, who does Danny sign? Coty Clarke

City Clarke never really played, though. The minutes went to guys that were already on the team, and had already earned time over Lee. If we had kept Lee, he would have been that same dissapointing fringe NBA player that he was for his entire time in a C's uniform
I'm bitter.

This is so funny, I think Jared would have killed for a piece of pie.   His weight really looked like someone was robbing his plate.

If this is a team wide problem then why aren' t the C's having a nutritionist work for the team?

The Celtics had ex-NBA player Oliver Miller as the team's nutritionist last year. Oliver is an old family friend of Brad Stevens.
