That's awesome, because we're going to end up losing this year... first or second round... in large part because of Rozier and our anemic frontcourt.  We lack depth and have no one resembling a PG that can lead the 2nd unit of a championship team. 

But yeah, kool aid seems extra tasty after a 12 point performance against similarly experienced NBA players.

No, the narrative here is that we're Celtics fans and enjoy it when our team wins and our players play well.  As of right now, Rozier has proven far more on the NBA level than Dunn, so we're gonna enjoy that...because we are fans.  You guys who would clearly rather be playing GM mode on an NBA video game than actually watching basketball, I don't know what your deal is.

I hate to make these assertions too early in players' careers (ie, Rozier over Dunn), but what's not to like with Terry? He is freakishly long and athletic, he aggressively grabs rebounds, and he somehow also has a silky-smooth shot - both off the catch and using the dribble to create space.

Terry is playing exactly how he should right now and taking advantage of each and every opportunity. We are a very good team - if he were jacking up crazy shots every time he got the ball, I would be much more concerned.

His progress from last year is quite noticeable.

Agreed. His handle is weird too. Sometimes he's got the thing like a yo-yo but other times, when more extreme changes of pace and direction are used, it wobbles (especially his left hand dribble behind the back to change direction to his right side with a right hand dribble, usually when he goes around the pick at the nail and his man goes under the screen).. not sure if that's a thing that will improve with time.

He's another 2 in a PG's body.  That's Ainge's thing, right?  He creates offense for himself, not others... and unless he develops the skills necessary to create for others, he's not going to be starter-level impactful on a solid team.  And he can easily prove me wrong -- the door is wide open for the kid right now.

Why play into overreaction?  Do some find it fun to read? I honestly can't tell.

I'd be elated if we made it to the 2nd round and made it competitive.  Hope we can seed high enough for that this year.  If we get a bad draw, I actually think we would fight hard enough to win a series against any one but 2/3 teams in the conference.

Roz is looking very good.  I'd go as far as to say that if this continues over the next couple months, the Celtics might want to look really hard at cashing in on Marcus Smart.  I say this, because the Brooklyn pick (knock on wood) should be good this year and this is being called the best point guard draft in years.  Several guys at the top look like potential stars.  It's early, but 2017 is getting some serious hype right now as maybe being 5-8 deep and it's loaded with PGs.  I've also read that the top 5 guys in this draft would have been in consideration for the #1 pick alongside Ben Simmons... and all of them would have gone ahead of the guys taken 3-8 this year.   If we end up in a position where best player available is a PG... that might pose a bit of a problem if we already have Thomas, Smart and Rozier.   Of the three, you're probably most likely to get equal value out of Smart.  We might want to preemptively make a move while we still have max leverage.
