I have no clue how this would fit into the NBA system but with the rebounding woes we are facing right about now it would be great if we could loan a player from another team for a month or so until KO and Horford are fully fit or until we start to get into trade season.

I'm thinking we loan one of the Sac bigs in return for loaning them a wing for a few months. Then it reverts back.

I've just remembered the no trade back clause in the NBA which is probably designed to stop this exact idea but hey ho.

Interesting idea.  Kind of like a corporate partnership or business alliance between companies who compete in the same space.  It won't happen in the NBA.

To address this issue, it would be good if the NBA could develop a true farm system.  Even better (and maybe more achievable) would be relaxing of the roster limit in case of injuries.  Then GMs could go out and sign a guy they need for short-term.
