If the scored remain as now....Brooklyn will have a better record than the Celtics

They are playing harder than Boston right now. Maybe Boston thought that we had the right to swap gameplay, not lottery picks-

They quit in the second half and got blown out when Knicks went on a mini run

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
they are an awful team. They've had an absolute bunny of a schedule too.
The teams they've beaten: Detroit on 2nd of back to back. The Wolves. The Pacers.
They might beat the Suns, but the Lakers will have to play pretty poorly to lose to them and the Clippers and OKC will crush them.
They'll only get worse once Jeremy Lin returns and starts killing the flow of the offense.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.

Well..we are awful ourselves so we might not even wanna look at the Nets right now because they arent even in our rearview mirror.

This should be a top 5 pick. They will lose a lot of games. I don't think they have the assets to acquire a star player during this season, so they should finish with a similar level of talent. Barring injuries to other teams, I think they'll be hard pressed to win 25 games.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

There is no comparison between us and the Nets.
The Nets are awful. They are a bottom 5 NBA team. We will be competing for the conference finals in 60 games.

man, i wish i could share your enthusiasm right now. the way i see it, this nets team will probably give us a pick in the 8-11 range, and we would be lucky if we can get to the playoffs with the problems our roster has right now. i get that we're not healthy and that it's possible the defense gets better once we are fully healthy, but the rebounding, man. the rebounding...
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

It's early in the season. We are overreacting. Check back a week from Monday and you'll be singing a different tune in regards to the Nets pick.

It's the 2nd week in November and half of our team has been hurt already.  The rebounding might have to be addressed but we will be a lot more competitive and win a lot more games when Crowder and Horford are back on the court.

As for the Nets, I agree with Chambers.  They are horrible.  Effort and scrappiness can win them some games in the beginning of the season and against teams that play down to their level.

Whoever hit Horford with that elbow should be fined.
