When/if the Celts are fully healthy, will we start to see some hinted of the vaunted defense?  There was a lot of talk about the Celtics being a Top 2 defense in the league.  Granted scoring seems to be up everywhere, but man, I've only seen a couple of spurts of the frenetic, truly disruptive defense so far this year.  We're giving up just under 110 points per game.  That's nuts.

I can't completely chalk that up to injuries.  It's more of a mindset.  The Celts seem to be feeling good about their offense, and that's great, but I'd love to see them apply more effort on D again.

Must be Sullinger. That dude should have won Defensive player of the year last Year. Just so athletic.

Well, the points per game we're giving up isn't the best representation of a good defense. Last year we allowed a lot of points per game but that was due to our high pace.

I do agree, though, that the defense has been bad. Our defensive rating isn't good, and it's not due to pace this year, as I believe we're not even top 10 in pace so far.

I hope it's due to not being fully healthy yet, and not due to losing guys like Evan and Sully. I also hope the pace returns to what it was last year. Do you guys think Horford will make us slower? How was Atlanta in pace last year and the past few years?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about
