  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Maybe a 15% chance. Jimmy Butler is a proven scorer in the NBA who can get to the free throw line and create his own offense at will.

Avery Bradley has rarely shown an ability to create for himself with the ball in his hands, bar the odd unexpected times he drives and scores. His offense comes off cuts and jumpshots and open threes.

Jae is similar because they are both slightly limited offensively and can't get to the line like a Jimmy Butler level player.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Avery is good but I don't know about allstar.  He is underrated. Reminds me of edelman for some reason.  I hope he sticks here longterm even with all our guards.  He's a good leader and  unselfish guy.  I think he is undervalued though and will be trying to get him earlier in fantasy leagues this year.  I think with Isaiah and Horford he is solidly our 3rd best player.  Even with guys like Crowder, Smart, Jaylen etc... I think he is that solid now and is set to have a really solid year.  Smart and Jaylen may have more ability longterm but combined with Bradley that's what we want at the wings and guards  to go with Isaiah and Rozier.  I wouldn't touch our guard situation or wing situation it's that good.  With Horford and Amir and KO we are really a couple guys away from being truly dominant.   I like how we have guys like Crowder and Amir and Bradley and all our guys how they really fit a system and become more and more solid year in and year out.  Bradley is the prototypical guy like that.  With guys like Hunter on the outside looking in it's going to be tough to get everyone time but I hope Ainge really sticks with guys like Bradley.
