Some insight into Isaiah Thomas, the person he is, what drives him, and how he put himself in the position he's in.

I think we take for granted how good this little guy really is.

Not me. Hear too much how he's not that good from sports fans in Boston.

I do think we have to be the only team in the league that has a legit all star that was averaging 22 points and 6 assists on a near 50 win team to have fans asking for the player to go to the bench.

It's his height.  If he were 5 inches taller and two or three years younger, he'd be seen on the same level as Damian Lillard and Kyrie Irving.

Thomas has convinced me that he is at least in the same ballpark as those guys in terms of current value.  I think it's reasonable to wonder how many more years he has in him like this past season, considering his size.  And yeah, he's an issue on defense at times.  But he's really good.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Interesting comparisons.  I feel confident saying that even at 5'9" Isaiah is no worse than either of those two guys defensively.  Lillard and Irving are both stars in my book, as is Isaiah.
