I don't think he impacts their wins / losses at all.  He's developed a nice three point shot, but his defense continues to fall off.

His shooting does help floor spacing, which should improve their offense, but with Lopez and Scola on the floor, what bigs defend?

This is great news. His game has fallen off a cliff, particularly defensively. The raptors couldn't even afford to play him in short stretches for the playoffs by the end of it. He will get some jumpers but just ruin any semblance of team defense they might otherwise have been able to develop. Best yet, he is not going to get any better.

Scola and Lopez will have opponents licking their chops.  If you combine their footspeed you'd have a player who moves about as fast as Boban Marjanovic.

He was a fine player, but he's 36 and its a tough league for that age

RHJ is gonna have to be Kawhi Leonard for them to have anything shy of the worst defense in the league.

Yeah, Scola was cooked a few years ago. He's well-done now! That's why he is signing with a team like the Nets, its the only option to stay in the league a bit longer.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Very helpful for us. He is not going to win them game and the spot is not taken by someone youg who may them next year win.
