In the end the Warriors have an absurd team and the trend in the nba is going to be where players who are free agents can join forces with the top teams.
We have to put ourselves in that same position somehow. We didn't get Durant but players are still going to look at us as a destination. It does favor the top teams. They can go that much further to get that much better. Reminds me of the yankees in ways. There basically is no cap now.
The best way to do this is with a style of player mixed with talent and a coach who can get teh most out of our talent. We have that in Stevens. We are still set up pretty well.
The cap is going to keep rising too. We have room for one max player. We will have room for 2 next year. The Warriors have the same advantage though. We are a couple steps behind right now.
