I had heard Durant say he wants to sign a 1+1 with one team but then re-up with that same team for a long term deal next year so he can make more money. He "didn't want to go through the same process" again next year.

So yeah, looks like our best bet at our next star/superstar will be in the loaded 2017 or 2018 Free Agent Classes (Griffin, PG13, Cousins.. please?)

I think so. Yeah.

If Curry also re-ups they've got their core four locked up for at least a few years.  Probably will have Curry and Durant for five or six years.

Can they afford that? Draymond, Thompson and Durant alone likely accounts for 2/3 their cap space. And Durant will re-up for MORE $$$ next offseason. Even if they do that they literally have no bench.

Yeah, that's the plan.

Though when they heavily struggle like the 2011 Miami Heat or 2015 Cleveland Cavaliers, that plan is going to come into serious question.
