how will this effect fans, after all these meetings and in essence only signing to win a ring and leaving
if durant truly wants to build a legacy with the giants of past -it has to be boston
durant is the missing piece that completes boston and allows danny to make this team a now winner by trading draft picks and young talent
durant has to turn a team around,
with durant boston will challenge lebron, who came back and turned around cleveland
the battle lines could be drawn to knock lebron off his perch -

Considering the yearly rise of the salary cap i think this is not very far fetched. He is above all a professional.

I think it won`t matter much. I`d see it as a motivation. If a few hours presentation with DA and IT makes him sign one year contract imagine what a year long experience of Boston will do!

A Durant/Boston vs Lebron/Cleveland rivalry would be awesome.  Rivalries always elevate sports stars.

It would be good for the east and NBA .    Silver would like it .

Heat fans are praying he don't come to Boston .   It ends their hopes for 3-5 years
