(Hypothetically) We land Durant...what happens next?

There are still so many variables to happen even if we do land Durant, what happens to Crowder? Brown?

Do we make a trade for a star to pair with Durant? Butler is going to stay because they've signed Rondo, we've been lowballed during the draft and we would have at least 3 scorers in IT, KD, AH so go after rebounders/blockers? upgrade 3/d guard? Is Bradley good enough? Do we bring back doughboy Sully, Amir, JJ?

So many, many options:

Centres: Horford, Olynyk, Zeller, Zizic, Iverson

Forwards: Durant, Crowder, Brown, Johnson, Sullinger, Jerebko, Mickey, Bentil, Yabusele, Nader

Guards: Thomas, Bradley, Smart, Rozier, Hunter, Young, Thornton, Jackson

We are constrained by the cap, so the options are actually limited. Fortunately, adding Durant and Horford while losing Sullinger, Turner, Zeller, Johnson and Jerebko still makes us good enough to win the championship.

Would I trade Bradley, Crowder, Young, Hunter and multiple picks for Butler or Cousins? Maybe. But there's something to be said for depth and strengthening existing chemistry. Who knows if Butler or Cousins would want to be the third or fourth wheel, anyway?

Assuming you can tame Boogie like The Mountain on Game of Thrones, I think Durant, Horford and Cousins is an utterly unstoppable Big Three. Even with Rozier, Olynyk, Mickey, our rookies and vet min guys as our only depth.

Edit: For reals, though, we'd have a starting lineup of IT-AB-KD-Crowder (I presume)-Horford, and I'm guessing the primary reserves would be Smart, KO, Brown, and JJ (seems like they could keep him at his bargain-basement price, but I guess Amir would have to be let go, along with Sully and Zeller?).

Very true, given the team possible construction I would rather keep Bradley over Butler because he is cheaper for the time being and is happy playing a limited role where I can't see Butler being the same and although Cousins would be perfect I would be uneasy about him ruining a pretty harmonious team.

Also I saw Olynyk and Smart at the Durant interview thus does this mean they are defiantly staying? Because I'd say it'd cost one or both to get Cousins.

Depth is probably average at best.  Shooting is bad because of Marcus Smart alone. I think its ideal to start 4 shooters... Having a non shooter in your backcourt hurts but that's the biggest weakness on that team.
