Still free agency to go and as it stands we have too many players but it's not too bad.

Under contract

Isaiah
Smart
Bradley
Crowder
Young
Rj
Olynyk
Mickey
Rozier

team option-17 mil combined

Amir Johnson
Jerebko

Qualifying offer---

Sullinger
Zeller

Unrestricted---

Turner

Possible cuts

Young
Rj
Mickey

That's 9 players under contract.  Plus 6 rookies with Davis and Zagoric going to the Grizzlies.  C's pick up another 1st round pick from the clippers

Brown
Guerschon
Zizic
Jackson
Bentil
Nader

Nader won't make this team I don't think.  He'll be cut.  So that's 9 players under contract, plus 5 rookies plus 5 possible free agents.  Plus free agency.

Turner is gone imo.  Guerschon may be a stash.  Zeller is gone as well imo.  We may resign Sully since he's our best rebounder even still depending on how NBA ready Guerschon really is.

PG-Isaiah, Rozier
SG-Bradley, Smart
SF-Crowder, Brown
PF-Sully, KO, jerebko
C-Amir or free agent, Zizic

Stash Guerschon depending on what happens with Sully.  Send Bentil and jackson to the dleague.  Cut Nader.  Keep or cut Young, Rj or  Mickey depending on free agency and trades.  I see the celtics trying to trade guys like Sully, jerebko and Amir this offseason or cutting them for upgrades at the center and  pf position although it's going to be difficult to do.

I think we try to upgrade Amir and Sully this offseason in free agency.  Sully to me is still the more likely guy to stay. He's more valuable than Amir and is going to cost the same.

I think the celtics will be active in free agency but I don't know how much gets done honestly. There are a lot of overrated players out there.

The Celtics might make some smaller moves though to upgrade some of our lesser players.

We are going to try to add shooting and upgrade our big men though but for who?

Sully will not be here next year.. Guerschon and I believe Bentile will make the roster.
Stash Zizic

Maybe we'll go with Brown and Guerschon to replace sully. Faster more energetic players.  Keep Turner and a lot of small ball.

I feel like one or both is going to be back though and p--- more people off.

Guerschon, Brown and Bentil all have nba ready bodies. Most of our draft picks do which is weird.

DA said he wants to carry 3 rookies. So probably more trades coming. Think he keeps Brown, Zizic and Bentil. Jackson traded probably. Nader cut. Yab stashed.

Haha, that would be madding if they both came back.. But I cant see it, especially not Sully..  Some team is going to pay him a bit more than we would and I am pretty sure that Danny has lost faith in him with his Weight..  You can only warn a guy so many times.. Guerschon looks and moves Way more natural at 270...

Turner.. ahh, I love the guy when I once didnt.. I just think he needs to collect a bigger check with a team he is not hamstringing by being in the line up...  He has to know that even if he Re-signs, the Celtics want his replacement... I love the guy though..

Keep Brown, Bentil and Yab, stash Zizic, Nader. No idea what to do with Jackson.

I love Zizic but I think he is a stash guy at this stage.

We cut Young, maybe hunter. We let Sully & Turner walk, pick up the option on Amir, try to get someone from FA to fill our needs and try to go for the FA class next year. I think next year is the best time to cash in because we might be getting another top 3 pick as well as having a better draft and free agent class.
