The Knicks are getting WAY too much for Melo
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I don't want Kevin Love. And I seriously doubt Kevi Durant does either.

'Kevi' Durant and Kevin Love have been close friends since 7th grade. http://nypost.com/2012/03/25/love-and-durant-friends-to-end-on-and-off-court/]]http://nypost.com/2012/03/25/love-and-durant-friends-to-end-on-and-off-court/

And what a scorching take that you don't want Kevin Love. Why would you want a 3x allstar who averages 18ppg and 12rbpg?

Probably something to do with him having a bad couple games and therefore now being bad.

KD is also good friends with Harden, but he's already let his people know that Houston isn't a place he will consider. Winning and fit are much more important factors for KD than playing with friends. He's (thankfully) not like Lebron.

Bradley and/or Crowder plus #3 is just too much. Either #3 + #16 or #3 + Rozier seems fair.

I would be thrilled with 3 and Rozier, particularly if we can also sucker them into taking Young off our hands.

I think it would be AB and Crowder for Love (no picks involved). Is that the best deal for either team I don't know. Cavs would get a big boost in team defense and match up better for Warriors if they meet a third time.

For C's
1. Love would have to return to his Wolves stat filling days.
2. C's would also need to go get Butler without losing all their trade chips. (Say 3, 23, 35, Grizz 1st, Rozier, Hunter and JJ.)

If you could give me starters IT, Smart, Butler, Love, and AJ with those deals I think you take that over IT, AB, Crowder, KO, and AJ while trying to see what all those players and all those picks can become. IT, Butler and Love would be a semi big three that would contend to reach the finals. And if luck is on C's side win a championship

Here's the thing: LeBron likes superstars on his superteam, so I doubt he breaks up the Big Three unless he can get a superstar for Love. Unfortunately for him, Melo may be the only option. Possibly Butler, too, but who knows. In any case, LeBron is gonna be busy recruiting after the gentleman's sweep on Monday night.

I see NO no problem here.....well there is actually.....Love is a sissy and is jury prone diva ........I would never trade Crowder for Love to begin with.

Love + KO = girls basketball

I want Love plus picks for taking his over rated game.

Basically he can go anywhere but Boston suits me.

People are so fickle, the same people saying they don't want Love were the same people 2 summers ago begging him to come.

Lebron in the modern NBA is a 4, if Green is a 4 Lebron is a 4. Therefore Love is surplus to requirements.

Look at Bosh, he was relegated to a 3 pt shooter in the Lebron in Miami years as well, clearly its a fit issue.

Love didn't just become trash overnight, hes not playing in the post because it takes away Lebron's driving lanes.

This logic that Love is suddenly trash is ridiculous.

He is being used completely incorrectly.

Maybe Durant knows something you don't.

What you do is you make the trade happen after the free agency period starts and have Boston pick for the Knicks. Then the trade is:

To Boston: Love
To Cleveland: Carmelo
To: New York: #3, #23, #35, James Young, RJ Hunter cash from both Cavs and Celtics

Thats a pretty garbage deal for Knicks would have to be 3 & 16 plus the above to get that deal done

I'm not giving up 3, Smart or Crowder.  I would give up AB, KO, Young, Hunter, 23 or later picks combo.  I don't care if that doesn't get it done....Celts don't need Love.

Celtics don't need love?

He'd automatically be the best player on the team

If we can get him cheap, then I'm in, but it means no 3, smart, crowder, or Bradley. Everyone and  everything else is on the table.

It will however help facilitate a three team deal to get Lebron help at the swing position for a two way player. I think players like Thad young or Rudy gay fit better as two way players next to Lebron anyway.

Cleveland gets Thad Young, Bogdanovic, 35 and future Memphis pick (prob 2020)
Brooklyn gets 16, 23, 31, James Young, and Sullinger (sign and trade)
Boston gets Love

Brooklyn wants draft picks and young assets. Cleveland wants a two-way complimentary 4 who can hit the corner 3 (better in the past than last year) and play without the ball. They also get a veteran shooter. Boston wants Love without giving up their two way guys.

This also frees up the Cavs of cap space so they can resign delly.

I mean it's already been confirmed KD sent teams a list of players he'd like to play with. I'm pretty sure playing with friends means a lot to him.

I'm sure KD would love to play with Harden again. That franchise is just a mess right now.
