A friend of mine suggested this (and yeah... he really likes Kevin Love and thinks Stevens will make him a 20+/10 guy he once was with Minny).

Supposedly Gallinari has a Player Option after next season so he might only be with Denver for one more year, so Denver could cash in by trading him now. Denver could look to go young, and they might also have a preference early in the lottery as well, so #3 could look enticing to them (and having #3 and #7 in general)

I'll admit though I think Denver needs more to make them do this. Maybe if you take out Rozier and Jerebko and give them Bradley or Crowder? Idk.

Nuggets Receive:  #3 Pick, Iman Shumpert, Terry Rozier OR #16 Pick, Jonas Jerebko

Cavaliers Receive: Danilo Gallinari, Amir Johnson

Celtics Receive: Kevin Love, Joffrey Lauvergne

Like it? Hate it? A few tweaks would make it better? Don't want Love? A team says no?

Love to hear some feedback on this. Not my favorite idea but it's a possible one.

way too much for Denver and not nearly enough for Cleveland
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Is Gallo really worth the #3 pick? He only has one year left on his deal (for $15m), and if he's really that good he'll be looking for the max in 2017. I didn't really watch him much, but his stats make him look like an above-average starter, but not a star.

Maybe something like:

Cleveland to Boston: Love
Boston to Cleveland: AB, #23, #31
Boston to Denver: #3, #35
Denver to Cleveland: Gallo
Cleveland to Boston: #7

I like that actually. Especially since the C's get #7 as well so losing #3 doesn't hurt as much.

Yea I would sign on for that.

Not sure Cleveland would be interested in Galinari over guys like Crowder and Bradley. If the #7 was heading to us in the deal it would make it easier to give up the #3, otherwise I think it's an overpay for Love

The thread topic is misleading.  This isn't a possible trade but a suggestion......

I think any deal for Love might be an overpay

Personally I hope the Celtics don't trade for Love but boy... Ainge LOVES him for some reason.

Expect 20 more blog rumors this summer about him even if CLE wins the Finals

Denver is overpaid.  Gallo is not worth the #3 pick.

Gallo and the 7th pick for the 3rd pick.

Gallo and the 7th pick for the 3rd pick.

So Celts are getting Love and 7th pick for AB #3 and a few other lower picks, plus they keep the 16th pick. I'm all in for that, but not sure Denver would be. They are giving up Gallo and the #7 to move up to #3 in a draft where 3 & 7 are considered my most experts to be pretty much equal?
