I think Buddy will continue the long tradition of guys with similar profiles who go on to play bench roles in the NBA.

Best case he's JJ Redick, which is a nice player. I want better than that with number three.

You and I must have different definitions of "best case".

I can't see how Boston doesn't select Bender or Murray in that spot.  Nothing else really makes sense.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Agreed. Even Murray feels like a reach there.

I talked myself into Murray when I thought our pick might be at 5 or 6.

What I've heard about Murray makes it sound like he may have trouble doing more than operating as an off ball shooter.

Which again, the Celts need. But you don't use a top 5 pick on Randy Foye.

I like Danny.  But he appears to have zero pressure from the owners or the fans.

what is he supposed to say here? "if we dont get stuff done its a failure"?

I mean he has done a great job since taking over the Celtics...been in the lotto like twice (07. and 2013), this one was from a trade from the Nets

won most of his trades with great deals. I say it's just his poker face...he's doing his job, and I trust him. He's going to have a VERY busy 2 months from now til draft night and FA hits
