It's going to be a wait.  I really like Bender and feel he is the type of guy worth the wait who could be a real game changer for us as a franchise.   I'm hoping we get him.  I like Simmons and Ingram but I like bender more and hope he lasts until our pick.

It's going to be a wait though.  I don't buy the consensus normally but he is one guy I am really high on.  In the meantime we have a wait until free agency and trades too.  I would not be in any rush to force trades.  I would be more focused on the draft and free agency. I think we can bring a guy like that along and get help in the interm in other ways.  Free agency is really the best way to do that. What to do with our own free agents etc.

I like Parsons, Ezili and guys like that. I think making a move for a guy like Butler or an additional scorer to go with Isaiah for the right price is good.  Get us out of the 1st round.  Keep improving but have those pieces in other ways that can get us over the top ultimately through the draft.

There are probably other options as far as trades and free agency that can do that as well.  We should be looking for a wing scorer and some size though in the draft and through other avenues.

Ainge can kind of sit back and address those things when they come.  Free Agency opens after the draft so we aren't even there yet. The media gets ahead of themselves and I wish they'd slow down sometimes.

We can really overpay for a guy like Parsons imo.  We are in position to get our team like Dallas or the Bulls in ways when they were good and have a  nice young prospect and our own Gasol or Dirk in ways in Bender to go with Smart for the future.

We can't bank everything on him yet though.  We don't even know if we will get him.
