Our guards have been our strong suit this year especially with Isaiah leading the charge but our bigs are no slouches either.  People like to knock Sully but I'd rather look at it differently.  Amir has been a solid signing at center.  jerebko has started to show his versatility when we start to go small.  Sully can rebound and utilize his size.  He hasn't shown he is much of an energy guy off the bench recently but has had some good moments this year depending on matchups and mindset.  KO is an enigma and can do a lot of different things. I think he has the greatest star potential here but lacks athleticism at times.  His length and ability to shoot and make shots in different ways is good though.  Crowder has probably been our most consistant well rounded offensive and defensive player all year.

Ainge is kind of in the same position with our bigs where he has interesting decisions to make when looking at Sabonis and Bender and Simmons and guys like that.  I think Simmons would more replace turner and is more  a guard in ways but fits as a big man as well.    What we don't have here is a ton of youth or length. We do have a lot of youth though even still and length. We've been developing KO and Sully for a  bit now.  Zeller is alright.  Jerebko is fairly talented and has a lot of versatility.  Amir isn't old either.  Mickey is a nice up and comer to possibly replace Sully or Amir but I don't know that for sure.  We have a lot of options here but lack star talent imo.  Similar to our guards in ways but I'd say we are  more guard heavy.  Turner is really kind of a forward/Guard too. So is young. Even Smart can play some forward because he is built like Jim Brown.

Again players are going to develop and roles are going to change although I think our bigs are more static than our guards that way.   Jerebko has been a shocker of late though.

Free Agency too, because I think we lack some star talent here. I don't really think we need all the draft picks we have but I wouldn't mind showing Zeller the door. Even Sully if we can upgrade that but I'm not sold that Sully is useless here.

Inconsistency is their names. We need to keep adding to the pool. Go hard in off season for a better big to lead the group. Also draft a few guys.

I'd be more inclined to take Simmons or Bender here over guys like Hield or Ingram because I think we need talent here, but it depends on free agency and everything. Especially if Simmons plays more like a big man.  Sabonis is kind of that 5th guy for me.  We are going to get one of those 5 I think and free agency, trades the rest of the draft.  Those are my top 5 though. I like them all.

Ainge is usually very good at finding the right fit although he messes up sometimes but not too often.

I think you are right that consistency is our issue here though.  Our guards lack shooting in ways and scoring ability outside of Isaiah although we've been drafting that.

I think our biggest need is a stud big man in ways who isn't going to disrupt chemistry.

Good thing your not our coach because you would still have him starting and we would lose.

Really, he has declined since the 3/20 game are you aware he only averaged 4.6 rebounds in the month of April?  But you seem oblivious to this fact.

As far as using his size, he does not use it well to do much more than lean on guys and using his hips to get rebounds.   He can't use it to rim protect, because if the guy is moving he is slow and and he can't jump.   He can be a nifty scorer at times but other times he is horrible.

Ainge could do much better I wager, than a guy who required we get Amir to cover his defensive short comings and who is dependent on match-ups to do well.  Excuses are like you know what...

He was one of the better bigs for us  most of the year but that is not saying much.   Our bigs are generally not feared across the league or regarded as solid.   Each of them has strengths but each has flaws.  Other teams dare him to shoot and rarely has he made them pay.

Maybe it is just  me but I'd prefer not to build around a guy who is unreliable, out of shape and battling morbid obesity.

Ditto . ..  but I think the message is, we have a big bag of flotsam that can sometimes show signs, but really can't be depended on at all.

Amir: is a revelation but we know his body is breaking down (or so they say).

KO: is hurting too, and when healthy, is very hit or miss.

Sully: is hit or miss. Sometimes plays great, often disappoints and continues to grow horizontally and walk funny.

Zeller: Nice rim runner skillset who can finish, but little else there. Incomplete.

Mickey: Nice frame and hops but 2nd rounder and far from proven.

Jerebko: Nice change of pace but never going to be a true building block.

Hence, we will continue crossing our fingers with this crew, but upgrades are needed. No question.
