I'm in Vegas with my wife for the first time of my life.  First thing I did was to go to the sports  book and bet $10 that Celtics would win the NBA championship. Got 250/1 odds. My wife busted my chops for not betting $20, and she doesn't even like NBA basketball. I am not a gambler (can't stand the smoke filled casinos) but wanted to at least show a little faith in our team.  I actually do believe they can come back and win this series, because I trust Brad will make some adjustments, and also feel Isiah will step it up.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Don't have to be a gambler to enjoy Vegas (and most of the strip casinos do a very good job at eliminating the smokey smell). Have fun and I think I speak for all of us when I say I hope you win!

I was in Vegas during the McGregor/Diaz fight and talked my intoxicated buddy out of betting $100 on Diaz.

He will never, ever, ever, allow me to forget it. Not even a little bit. I forget the odds, but it would've been like 2 or 3 grand or something.

Diaz was getting 30 to 1 on a bet?

I would have bet 1000$ on the Hawks to win the series, if the Celtics win great the Celtics win, but there not, so u would have made some money.
