If Atlanta wins our next game they will have the tiebreaker over us; if we win it will go down to best winning record in Eastern Conference.
In the case of a multiple tiebreaker: If Atlanta is
not in the tie, we have the tiebreaker in all possible combinations.
If Atlanta is in the tie, and we win our next game, we have the tiebreaker if Miami is in the tie too (MIA has the tiebreaker against Atlanta; we'll have the tie against Atlanta and the tiebreaker against everyone else); if MIA is not in (ie: a tie between Boston, Charlotte and Atlanta) Charlotte finishes last, and tiebreaker between Boston and Atlanta goes down to rule 4b (best winning against teams in Eastern Conference).
If Atlanta is in the tie, and they win in the next game, there will be lots of ramifications; will have to get a new look at that after the game.
