Undersized bigs that can rebound over bigger players and do different things. physical defensive minded guards and wings.  Butler had Hayward.  We have Isaiah.  Well coached and play well together.  Still love Sully and Bradley for this reason amongst others.  They were drafted under Doc but fit Stevens style of play.  So does Crowder and everyone else really.  We can really beat anyone.  Ainge has been building this for a while and had his eye on Stevens.  Motion offense where players are taught to read and react and position, space and cut accordingly and share the ball.

I agree.
And, I think that Ainge really means it when saying trades might be hard because, "I like our guys"
Had a look at Houston's roster today.  I like our roster better.
Harden is a great talent, but I like Isaiah better and Isaiah is a better teammate:  Isaiah doesn't maneuver to get his coach fired.
I think Houston is a team that has had some success in free agency, and drafting, but without a real plan.  The result is that Celtics have a better record than Houston.

And, for all those saying we have to sell everything to get a superstar, look at the Dwight Howard situation in Houston.  They got him, but any one player can go downhill, get hurt, or somehow not fit in.  The big plan to make the Celtics like Butler is more important than any one superstar or move.

Btw Brad Stevens was introduced yesterday into the Supreme Basketball council and Basketball God's association.

He was made in a experimental coaching Lab from the Sci Fi movies. He's half Vulcan.

LOL. Tp.  The Butler did it. Much like Malcolm Butler the Celtics seem to steal the ball at opportune times.
