Some people have questioned what LeBron was doing working out with D-Wade in season. Though I think doing it in season is bad I feel it's a great idea if done in Preseason. Numerous teams in the NFL preseason are now doing joint practices. LeBron may be the bridge that gets this done in the NBA. It's good to see more looks and different challenges  for the younger players and for new teammates. And as many say, getting any edge in becoming a better team is always welcomed.

How do you feel about joint practice in the NBA?

I have no problem with guys working out together, in season or out.  It's not like the NFL where you could worry, I guess, about guys divulging playbook secrets or something.

As far as joint practices, my understanding is that teams typically don't have much time for practice during the season anyway, so I think it's probably just not something that could easily fit into the schedule.

I think if this was the only thing that Lebron did it wouldn't really be an issue. However, he is definitely creating drama by sending out public messages about mistakes and trust (that he knows well enough the media is going to ask him about) then refusing to answer what said messages are about, then going off and working out with an ex-teammate and giving more sassy answers in response. I agree all the questions are stupid, but he is also creating the questions.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think it's calculated to have exactly this effect. Lebron is a smart man. I bet he wants to create the perception that he could legitimately walk this off-season - that way he will maximize his leverage over the team's personnel decisions.

Could very well be that, but if it is true it seems really misguided. Kevin Love has already shown he can be a bit emotional about stuff and worrying about his brand for the offseason and leverage when they are favorites to at least get to the finals would be really misguided.
