How cute, fans are once again falling for perpetually mismanaged front offices' excuse that it is/was their star's fault that the team isn't winning or hasn't won. Read the article. Do any of you really think the Howard fiasco wasn't a culmination of Otis Smith's shortcomings?

Shame on Houston for allowing a player dictate their every move. That's on them, not Harden. Harden has earned a say -- it's a front office's responsibility to decide if his advice is worthy of subsequent action.

Harden was a real d bag to McHale

With what?  MVP awards?  Playoff series wins?  He's led them to the conference finals once and first round exits twice.  Scoring titles?

Please. Harden is a top 10 player at least and the face of their franchise. If their front office wasn't communicating with him, it'd be a franchise more poorly managed than it already is. It's their job to decide if there's any merit to what he has to say.

Pierce was a d bag to Doc Rivers at one point, too. But Ainge was smart and strong enough to not fire Rivers, even though P2 probably wouldn't have objected at one point.

I remember when Ron Artest blatantly elbowed Harden and I wanted Artest's head for it...now I want Artest to go do it again.

this dude really became a tool.

Please. Kevin McHale is a Hall-of-Famer with multiple NBA championships on his hands.  Harden can kiss his A$$.

You can think McHale is great and not at fault and simultaneously think Harden is great and not at fault. That's exactly my point: management is at fault.

Great Source, Berger is.

Harden's not perfect and I like him as a player, but I can believe that he had considerable influence on Kevin McHale's firing.

And TBH they don't appear to be that much better off without him.

But HE is better off without HOU.
