I couldn't find the actual American Bandstand clip of "Gino" anywhere online... just cell phone camera footage of when he appeared on the Celtics jumbotron.   I noticed someone maintaining a YouTube channel with dozens of Bandstand clips and asked if they had the footage of Gino.  The YouTube user did indeed have the clip and uploaded it for anyone who cares:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnFpe-Xel_A

I think it was during the '10 Finals or something like that but they tried to track down "Gino" but turns out he died back in the 90s.  Kinda sad.  Can't remember who wrote the piece off the top of my head but it was a good read.

Pretty neat this lives on as a tradition.
