I'll be the first to tell you after seeing both of them play 10 plus games in college. Durant was better and its not that close. That said lets take a closer look.

   Height   wingspan  standing reach
K.D. 6'9"     7'4.75".      9'2"

B.I.   6'8".    7'2".          9'1.5"

 Per 40 stats

 KD.  28.8 ppg 12.4 rpg 1.5apg 2.1spg 2.1bpg

 BI.   20.8 ppg  8.2rpg   2.3apg 1.4spg 1.8bpg

 KD shooting %  .473 fg .404 3p% efg .536%

 BI                        .475 fg  .409 3p% efg .560%

 Shot attempts per 40

 Durant 20.6 per game

 Ingram 15.3 per game

Durant player with nobody at Texas, while Brandon plays at Duke with Greyson Allen who averages 20 ppg so you have to factor that in.

Tp to the first poster cheers.

I agree, but nobody really expects Ingram to be KD, if he was a poor mans version of KD and we got him I would be ecstatic.

Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt

TP for the comparison.

Wondering if Ingram's height/reach could grow more like Durant's did (we all know he towers over "real" 6'9" guys).
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Tp's back at you guys. Mgent all I know is Ingram's body is ready for the NBA right now, just need to add a few pounds.
Also I will guarantee Ingram beats Durant at vertical jump at the combine. Kevin's Max was about 34"
Ingram will jump at least 37" IMO.

best case, he's KD and it's awesome.
worst case, he's Giannis and it's still pretty good.

Yeah, but the real question is, can he bench 185 pounds one time?

Durant's listed at 240, this kid is 190.

Still, every professional athlete should be able to bench their body weight (for a full set IMO).

Durant came out at 215 pounds so he's put on 25 pounds over time.
