 Tommy Voice "I Love Dunn!"

Not because he's a great rebounder, not because he's a would class athlete, not because of his awesome handles.

He would instantly become Heinson's favorite player because wait for it... He passes the ball ahead on the break or after a made basket every time a guys open.

I wish he was a little more aggressive scoring, but he's an old school special point guard with tremendous Defensive abilities.

 He's the rarest Rose.

In the last 17 years in college basketball quickly guess how many guys have Avg at least 15pts, 5 boards, 5 assists, 3spg.

 Kris Dunn is the fifth.

 And he's Avg 17.4ppg 7apg 6rpg 3.2spg

He's a great young pg.  He seems like he'd fit with the nets too if they decided to go oldschool ala jason kidd and their style.  We have their pick unfortunately for them this year.   He would be a savior on that team.

The Nets would love him more  I guess is what I'm saying.  We have Thomas and Smart here already. He has some Chris Paul and Kidd to his game though.

Would Ainge trade our new allstar this soon for a big time talent and draft Dunn?  He's a really good young pg but I'm not sure I see that.  Thing is most of the top teams in the lottery this year. The LAkers, Minny, Phoenix, New Orleans etc all don't need pg's.  Milwaulkee doesn't either.  He could end up really sliding unless Philly picks him.

A lot of hype surrounding Milwaulkee on the internet before this season but they are lottery bound once again and have a lot of pieces that don't fit like I thought.  They have MCW and I wonder if kidd would take Dunn too.  That team is a mess imo.

There are some really young GM's in this league in NJ and Milwaulkee and teams like that that are really messing with the nature of things imo.  Dunn would be great in Brooklyn.  He'll probably end up with the Lakers or a team like that that doesn't know how to utilize him properly.  Or Kidd will take him and really screw him up because he doesn't fit on that team as constructed either.

I think Dunn is the most likely player to get hosed this draft. Nothing against him either. I really like him as a player.  Mainly because we have the Nets pick.  There are some really dumb GM's in the NBA. All these picks we have are nice but I don't think we need all of them either.  I think the game is messed up that way.

He's a mix of old school point guard, with new age athleticism.

This doesnt necessarily translate into NBA offensive prowess.
Smart's last college year as a soph averaged 18pts, 5.8rbs,4.8ast,3stl

Considering Dunn is 12 days older, I think they have the same career arc and potential; Still think Kris is a better offensive player right now.
And i think a Dunn-Smart backcourt would be ridiculous, considering they're both combo guards that can defend both guard positions.

It might be Dunns greatest attribute to simply get the bank ahead to the open man.

Do ya think with Stevens System that would be fantastic for our system, or is that not something we would really utilize.
