With picks 31,35, or 47 right now tons of options available at PG if we want to draft another point.

Gary Payton son is projected to go 36th he's 17/8/5
Marcus Paige UNC 13/4/3 protected 45

Then the awesome midgets projected at 46 and 47

Tyler Ulis who is the leader and just and awesome player for Kentucky 15/6/3.5

And Kay Felder 26/9/4  both players are 5'9" tall

I wish each player the best of luck if their dreams involve playing in the NBA, but don't we have three undersized guards for their positions already (Bradley, Rozier, and Thomas)? They'll deserve all the basketball-related praise in the world if they can have some IT-like affect on a team as soon as they come out, but I don't think we can expect every sub 6'1 PG coming out of college to be as impacting as IT.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

Rozier and Bradley are appropriately sized for point guards. Bradley plays off the ball but you mentioned him. I think it's not about height though. With Marcus we have a young stud at the position who will need a lot of minutes to develop and with Rozier we have one in the pipeline. No need to be swinging on the second round for a position we don't need that can't be stashed (unless they agree Luke Thornton).

Big fan of GP II aka "The Mitten" he might sneak into the first though.

not seeing the fascination for smallish PGs in the second round.  we already have IT, Smart and Rozier at PG for next year.  That's not even accounting for the possibility of us taking Dunn with our Nets pick if he's the BPA at that slot.

I don't think Danny will take more than 1 player in the second round that has any shot of making the roster next year.  He'll either be using the picks in trades or doing the draft-and-stash like he's done with Iverson and Thornton recently.  Perhaps a couple of high risk/medium reward Euros.  (can't see any High Reward players slipping to the second round this year regardless of the risk)

I completely agree.

I'm still befuddled that he took Thornton last year given his Rozier pick and the roster construction. He could've stashed a wing or a big. BPA (if thats what Ainge did) at 45 is a little silly to me, unlike picking BPA in the first round.

I don't get the interest in 2nd round point guards either, we're stocked there.  2nd round is for draft and stash Euro big men and wings.

Really the point is, I hope we don't take Dunn or Jackson with a firsts rounder, If he feels we need another true point then there is options with the five second rounders we have.

Sorry, Danny only drafts "combo guards."  ;D
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'
