He's a gigantic upgrade over Avery, Smart, whoever.

Woooo that's some I just watched Draft Express hype right there.

Snakemam, have you watched him play just one whole game this year?

I dare you to watch one full game and tell me he's not ask that and a bag a chips.

He's the type of shooter where you say no way that one is going in and he nails it.

Dudes averaging  26.1 ppg and 5.6rpg, and your like yeah but he's a chucker right. Wrong!

How about .514% from the field and .904% from the line. Ok but what about his three's. .515% from three!

Along with his work ethic, he is the reason to stay four years.

This kid deserves a lot of credit. Shooting 8 three's per game at .515% and scoring 26 per game is insane.

Over the last two seasons he took 7 three's per game and shot .370% which is solid.

Im not going to say he's having a fluke season, I think he's put in his work and his confidence is sky high.

If Hield shoots 500 per day. I would say Smart takes about six jumpers per day lol. Sorry Marcus fix that shot.

Well I have watched about 10-12 games of his (last year and this year), and yes, he is a better shooter than both of them, and is more athletic and can finish around the rim better.  Go check out the highlights of the triple overtime game between Kansas and OU.  He dropped 47 points on KU at Allen Fieldhouse.  The KU fans gave him a standing ovation after the game.  He is legit.

I don't know about gigantic upgrade, because I like both AB and Smart.  He isn't as much of a def stopper as Smart, but has a better defined role as a 2 guard.

What serious player even counts shots? Just shoot till tired. When tired take fives minutes of rest and shoot some more. When again more fatigued take 7 minutes of rest and return to shoot some more. After 3-5 total hours you are good. And I consider tired is when you can't get the ball to the rim outside of 15', yes that fatigued!

Everyone on our team has big holes at the two, Averys Small and can't really dribble, Marcus can't shoot, Hunter he has the tools, but not star material, Young well yeah, No.

Hield is tall enough, long enough, very good athlete, exceptional shooter, good handle, and slasher, gets to the rim, good defender.

Hield and Crowder would be an excellent fit and you have Smart and Thomas offensive and defensively.

Move Avery for a big in this scenario.

What the heck?  Is that supposed to be a lot?  I feel like I do that quite easily whenever i go shoot around for 60-90 minutes.  That's by myself, outside where the ball can bounce anywhere, and I'm not exactly in NBA shape.  Put me inside with more than one ball and I feel like I could double my number of shots.  If I actually had someone rebounding for me or feeding me the balls, God only knows.

Not to mention, if I personally was an NBA player, or even a regular joe who didn't have to work, I'd easily be shooting for a minimum of 3 hours a day total.  I'd probably approach it like a 40 hour a week job (at least 5.7 hours a day spent on my game, including games/practices/weights/conditioning, not including commute).

If you took a shot every 10 seconds you could shoot 500 in ~83 minutes.  83 minutes of fun, and the reward is hundreds of millions of dollars, fame, women, power, legacy, etc.

Granted I know he's not in the NBA, YET, but you have to imagine most of the NBA's good shooters took way more shots than that on average growing up.  Go to the gym for 2 hours at a time 3-5 times a day, and you'd be surprised how many shots you could shoot.

David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
