Smart did have a triple double last night his first - keep in mind it was against the Suns a team that is not very good.  Also, notice again Smart's shooting statistics which is the reason I still doubt he will ever become a well rounded player in the NBA.  He was 4-12 and 1-5 from 3 pt range..still very poor shooting percentages.  I recommend you check his shooting percentages in the last few games he has played...2-9 etc.

Smart is a good defensive player and he lead the C's in rebounding last night so kudos to him for a very good game vs the Suns but his offense is sorely lacking. 

As a Celtics fan, I'm hoping Marcus does eventually correct his poor shooting - time will tell.

Attacking spelling? Really? Especially when you are wrong is just bad. The spellings used are correct spellings. You should stick to a reasonable response to posts instead of attacking the posters spelling. Like I said it is just bad form, and even worse when you are wrong or make errors of your own.

I think the thing about Marcus is he can do so much on a basketball court as far as the in between stuff.  Offense is overrated that way.   I hate saying anyone can put a ball in a basket which isn't necessarily the truth but that stuff can come with practice.

Any winning team its about winning the in between stuff as much as it is scoring anyways.  There are a lot of players who can score in the nba. 

I say keep doing what you do Marcus and keep improving on the things you need to improve on.

Yet Boston has only one of them. 

I will say this for Marcus: If/when this team ever gets a solid collection of offensive players, his offensive deficiencies probably won't mean much.

That said, it would be really nice if he could score a little more.

Smart is starting to show an increased ability to get to the hoop. If they continues it will be huge for his development.

You know the kid is always going to compete and give 100%, but the more we see on offense the more the team will excel.

You do realise that people from other Countries that speak English, spell words differently? Perhaps some education on other cultures and Countries is in order

rolliemass - my apologies... I shouldn't have criticized you the way I did.  It was stupid on my part.  I do know that the words can be spelled differently in other countries like England.  I hope you are right that Smart will eventually become a complete player.   The Celtics need all the shooting help they can get.
