He could hit 7'2"!  Wow...that's an eye-opener!!

"During a childhood doctor’s visit, Ivan Rabb learned that he could top out at 7 feet 2. So the Cal forward wonders whether the aches he still feels in his knees signal more room for growth.
'I’m 6-11 now, so you never know,' said Rabb, whose Bears play Thursday night at Stanford. 'Even an inch or two would be great.'"

I thought he was 6'9".

He could be the rim protector that the Celtics need!

Let's keep an eye on this cat!

If we don't make the playoffs I think he is a great target in the late lottery. I'm a fan.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Even if we do make the playoffs, perhaps we could trade up for him using our pick and the Dallas pick. A top 5 and a consolidation to get Rabb would make me pretty happy.

Better hope its growing pains & not something else.

Undoubtedly, hearing anything about "knees" and "pains" with big men always brings worst case scenarios to mind.

Oh come on, how tall are all of you?  I am only 6'1" and I had horrible growing pains.  The problem is if he has worse growing pains in one leg than the other.....

I don't buy the 7-2 thing.  These doctors take your height at a certain age and double it.  That's weak.  What I do know is that according to the measurements in the link below he's grown 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch TOTAL in the last 3 years.  Doesn't sound like someone who a) is really 6-11 and b) is still growing:

Maybe he's grown since the last measurement?  And they call them "spurts" for a reason.
