any Untouchables on C's ?

I would think the only Celtics untouchables are:

1:Thomas (we'll need him when/if we get a star)
3:Crowder (great contract-always hustles)
2:The 2016 Nets pick

that's Pretty much it to me....Ainge can deal anyone else or any other Picks.
I certainly hope something happens by the trade deadline.

Just about, depends where that pick lands tho. If its like pick #3 DA should draft like Dunn and call it a day.

I think it's all about direction and what position you can upgrade. But no one is untouchable.

Mickey, Rozier and Smart right now.  Also a big fan of Sully.  I'd put Kelly on that list as well.   That's my young core.

I like all our guys honestly. Isaiah, Crowder and Bradley is good  to me. I don't think the celtics are in position to make major changes. Maybe I'm wrong though. Maybe now is the time to do that in ways but i'm not there yet.

I think it's more about getting rid of Lee and Turner and Zeller and Jerebko and guys like that and making an impact in the draft to go with our guys.

Amir can stay another year. I like Rj and young's potential. 

There's always a chance Ainge could deal Crowder or BRadley a guy like that for a guy like Middleton or a  young more offensively geared wing,  but it would have to be something that really fits imo.

I really think when you take bradley and crowder vs a guy like Middleton it's kind of a tough call.

We can really draft our own guys and use our picks to get in position to do that..

I think if Ainge can consolidate a few guys to find  better fits he'd do that though. I don't think there is anyone who is absolutely untouchable on our roster.  But probably in that order.

The only untouchable asset for me is the 2016 Nets pick, and even then, I'd trade it for a top 10 player with multiple years left on his deal.  Don't think that's an opportunity that will come along.

This is right. IT could be part of a trade for the right target. I am not convinced that the IT/Smart/AB guard set up (even with Turner) is the way forward. IT carries too much scoring weight and the ball handling/creativity needed to control and change games isn't there. I like all three but would be happy to swap for the right player.

In todays NBA and especially with Ainge, there is no such thing as an untouchable player, as much as I'm sure he loved The Truth if he was approached about swapping him in his prime with lets say Kobe he'd do it in a heartbeat. I remember when he even offered a prime Rondo for a very young Steph Curry.

If he could trade everyone including his son and Brad Stevens for Anthony Davis...he'd do it haha

Thankful, your not the GM.  That core is untested at the NBA level in the first two.   The last two, I am afraid your core is rotten as they are rotation players that are all over the place in terms of consistency.

Everyone on this roster is expendable providing the right deal comes along.

Untouchable is all relative. I'm sure that Shaq was considered untouchable at one time. If Lebron's draft rights though were in the pot then maybe Shaq is no longer considered that way? I think IT, Crowder, AB and the Nets picks are as close as the Celts have right now though. These players not so much because they are great but they are quite good and on great contracts. I would like to see our current roster healthy with a young, defensive center or power forward and see how that group would do over half a season.
