Love how he gets in passing lanes.  Like Mickey blocks.  Rozier steals.

Turner is playing because he's just the more polished vet right now and these guys are rookies.  Same with Lee. They won't  be here next year with a year  of seasoning for Mickey and Rozier.

I just like what Ainge is doing.  Reminds me of the patriots in ways. They always draft these linebackers and players that seem to have a nose for the ball and toughness. Who guessed Jamie Collins would be what he is.  Rozier is like the pg version of that imo.  i really like him.

We are set up well where Ainge anticipates this stuff himself as well.  we have expiring contracts and players are going to step in over time.

Rozier can actually knock down shots too.  In preseason he was really clutch and every time he came in he surprised knocked down some really big shots.

We just need our Tom Brady to go with guys like this.  We win the loose ball battle and in between stuff we will win a lot of games.

i just watched full game red claws and rozier is so hard to judge for me,his particular style bringing it up,even his defensive stance is different and i didn't see him getting over the top of screens like marcus
is it his dribbling skills
i may be biased to a more classic pont guard

Two problems. Rozier is an undersized PG and Collins is a physical freak who looks like he was engineered in a lab and is one of the best athletes in the NFL. Tom Brady is the greatest Quarterback of all time. So all we need is freak of nature and the greatest player at his position ever and we can become the Pats of the NBA! I'm thinking Westbrook could be the freak of nature and prime KG or Duncan could be the GOAT.

I'd rather let Rozier, Mickey, and Hunter develop at the Nba level than to ever watch Turner, Zeller and Lee play again.

Rozier is 6'2" with a 6'8" wingspan. You have awfully odd expectations if you believe that is undersized for a point guard, heh. The kid will likely play the 2 in a pinch because of his length. He is also ridiculously athletic.

I'm not really interested in the Patriots/Celtics comparison that obviously irked you enough to write a paragraph long post mocking the user you quoted, but Tom Brady wasn't exactly considered the best player at his position when he was drafted in the 6th round. I also doubt anyone thought Collins would be this good or else he would have been drafted in the top 10 and not the end of the second round. Don't let revisionist history of draft picks cloud your judgement too much.

Rozier is a good prospect, but there are areas that he is good at and others he is not. I think the most obvious is his inability to finish at the rim, which is weird considering his ability to get to the rim. I think he needs to play with more poise, have that killer instinct on the floor. I think he need to work on control of his body when he shoots.
