What is the point of playing guys like Lee, Turner and Johnson when Mickey, Rozier and Hunter are left to rot in the D-League.

I understand they need to learn but why can't they do that while getting valuable minutes in the NBA a la T-Wolves, is LaVine perfect? No but they give him minutes next to experienced guys like Prince and KG who he can learn from, who cares if they drop games, as long as he is learning

It frustrates the hell out of me when we lose to a team like Brooklyn with guys who aren't gonna be here in a few months anyway

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Turner and Johnson's roles are probably just a little bigger than they should be and I don't see them as particularly harmful for a team that is trying to make the 2nd round of the playoffs. We knew the rookies were going to be way down the depth chart so we will just have to be patient.

I am ready for some trades, though. The roster seems a bit discombobulated and we really need to consolidate. Players have no idea what their roles are anymore.

Rozier was pretty bad when he got some early season minutes.

He's probably someone that will cost you a ton of games before seeing any reward.

Johnson is the only guy on the whole roster who can defend someone like Brook Lopez, who was the main reason the Cs lost to a team with a 25% win pct.

Turner is the one of two players on the roster who can handle the ball, get assists, and get easy baskets at the rim.

Lee is a veteran and former All-Star you know is talented, and seemingly a good team player.

I went to basketball reference to check out our best net 5-man combinations thus far this year.  Take a look for yourself:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/BOS/2016/lineups/

Our best 5-man combinations are littered with Bradley, Crowder, Thomas, and Turner.  So there's your reason for Turner.  Lee just happens to be in the top 2, so not sure how that's evidence against him.  Johnson can be found in a couple as well, but he is clearly the weakest link of the 3 you cite here.

Is Rozier playing PG or SG in the D-League?

I am happy to keep him there if he is playing PG. He needs more experience running a team.

well, the main reason is, Mickey, Rozier, Hunter are worse players. If we give them Lee, Turner and Johnson's minutes, we'd be effectively tanking. And that's what the T-wolves been doing in the past many many years.

we want to build a winning teams, that means rookies must earn their minutes, these three fellows clearly haven't.

having said that, I too don't understand why we can't handle the Nets.

Danny is collecting assets for a major trade or two while Brad is trying to win games with the pieces he's been given and also manage player egos.
