people cant be serious in this thread, he is like 37.

There has been QUITE a BIT of talk about bring Pierce back and he is 38, so give it a rest about the age stuff!!

And for the record, Crawford is 35.  Also, for the record, Crawford, despite having an off year by his typically consistent standards, has a PER almost 4 points higher than our revered PP!!

P.S.  Happy New Year!!!:-)))
When people talk about bringing back Pierce, it's not to have him play minutes, it's to get a Celtic legend back in green and use him as, basically, a player/coach.

Jamaal Crawford brings literally nothing to the table for us. I have no clue why you'd want a streaky bench scorer who plays zero defense and is over the hill anyway.

It would REALLY make my New Year better IF some of you would READ the thread before replying sarcastically!!!

I did NOT realize that Crawford's shooting had declined so precipitously in the last 1.5 years and once that was pointed out, I said this IN THIS THREAD:

"Point well taken!!  I didn't realize his shooting had fallen off SO MUCH in the last 1.5 years!!

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

It would REALLY make my New Year better IF some of you would READ the stats before starting a thread about a player.

Although, to be fair, Crawford in his prime was a mediocre player who was willing to take enough shots to score 20ppg, so he wasn't that desirable before he declined.

Danny doesn't drink.

exactly
He doesn't do drugs either. Isn't Crawford like 38? Maybe if trading Lee saved us a ton of money. That's about it

Point WELL TAKEN:-))  However, many on this board have been screaming (and likely continue to scream) for instant offense.  I admit that I don't really follow the Clippers during the regular season since Doc has taken over, since I now consider him a traitor, other than to follow there overall record and their very predictable playoff collapse under Doc's brilliant leadership:-))

Crawford is past his prime, but I can see Danny taking a chance on an older veteran (that has proven capable to instant offense, despite horrendous defense) such as Kevin Martin or a Ryan Anderson or an Eric Gordon, etc.  I personally hope that he does not go after EG due to his injury history and the fact that he truly doesn't even seem to try on defense!!

I think you might be surprised what Danny does to find us some instant offense for the playoffs, if we are still in playoff contention come February.  I bet you it will be a veteran that is under-performing over the last year or two.

I am comfortable out on my limb.  And I will gladly admit that I was wrong AFTER the trade deadline IF I am wrong:-))

Happy New Year!!!
