More updates on Early. The drivers I'd was taken, but nothing from the girl hmmm.

At 4:15 am they jumped in the car and began fooling around, not paying attention to which direction the car was going, the car drove to an industrial area before getting boxed in by three cars.

They stole his I phone 6 too, you would think they could trace that phone in a New York minute. That was really stupid.

Time for all the Knicks players to have their own personal bodyguards and what not.

I'm not sure a singular bodyguard would have been enough in this particular instance.

Not on this particular instance, but if it seems like it is, a something that was orchestrated, the knowledge that he hangs out with his personal bodyguard might've been enough of a detractor of planning of doing this in the first place.

So on that alone I think there's value of having a bodyguard even if in the evaluation of an event it is deemed that having a bodyguard wouldn't have helped.

But the main point in this is that there's been two Knicks that have recently been targeted. It'd be foolish not to take precautions I think.
are we to assume then that if a scrub such as early needs a bodyguard, that virtually ALL nba players would need one? are we to launch 450ish or so nba players into society surrounded by one or more body guards, all armed, looking for trouble to prevent?

somehow, i dont see a solution to this, or any larger problem by going down this avenue.

Personally, without knowing how much bodyguards cost vs. how much money these guys make to have the money to spend on that, I'm of the opinion that all these guys in the public view with money in their pocket should try and get themselves some sort of protection.

But that's besides the point.

The point was that TWO Knicks have already been targeted in recent days, one of them getting a bullet in the knee for his troubles. Might be a coincidence, might be part of a larger scheme, but seeing this two circumstances occurring so close together you can bet your ass that even I'm the biggest scrub in the Knicks I may be looking into some sort of protection package at least until things clear up.

Guess this will make small-market teams more enticing to FA's then ;)

:D Let's list all the problems for NBA players in New York city.

 Early shot and Robbed.
Hawks players Thank sefolsha, got his leg broke by cops.
Chris Copeland and his GF, robbed and stabbed.
Derrick Williams robbed if 600k of jewlery by two women.

NFL Plaxico shot himself, just trying to protect himself from the Thugs of NY.

Did I miss anything? Maybe we can convince guys the extra fun isn't worth getting shot, stabbed, robbed, or body slammed by the NYPD.

More of a Greed and Evny issue. Get rich or die trying. We send terrible messages to the youth.

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the thread yet but I heard it that he left the club with a women. She may have had something to do with the set up herself. Not sure if thats true but has anyone heard the same? Apologize if i missed reading it somewhere here.

Edit: After reading further i've seen its his girlfriend? As opposed to what I earlier read as just a random women he met there.
