Has anyone noticed the small white circles in the paint this year between the free throw line and the basket? First time I've ever noticed this on the celtics parquet.. its been bugging me all season, but they appear to make small diamonds, and are in the same spots at both ends of the court.
I wonder if they are there for strategic purposes, to help run offensive plays? Sort of like the way Phil Jackson put the Bulls logo's on the court to run the triangle offense.

Maybe I'm just losing it.

Ha---this doesn't bother me--but the court just looks awful to the eye this season---Darker Green Paint...Ugly TD Bank Logos on both ends Baseline--where BOSTON CELTICS Should be printed in Huge Letters....Plus-the Angle of the Ad Lights above--puts a lot of Glare on the floor...
Somebody needs to fix these things.
