mickey scored 32 points with 13 rebounds and yes only 2 blocks-took 20 shots hitting 10 and  12-14 on foul shots
being able to hit those is a good sign for his outside shooting-also who wants somebody at crunch time that can't shoot a foul shot

He's consistently a plus-minus leader on the team, and an advanced stat leader dleague-wide. If he wasn't blocked, he'd have one of the 5-10 best cases for a callup.

He'll be here soon. Someone always gets hurt-- Olynyk and Sullinger have gotten dinged at some point every season of their careers. When one of our frontcourt players has a sprain or something; Mickey will be on the plane.

Once Zeller , Lee (I hope) get traded or due to injuries
Mickey will be called up and get his chance

Past experience dictates that the any rookie who shows something in D-league and garbage will get some more run in the second half of the season.

Even James Young managed to get about 10 minutes a night last year in February-March. Wow, did you remember that? It's true. I looked it up. It was pretty forgettable.

Anyway, don't worry. We're going to see plenty of Jordan Mickey this winter.

From the story I read here on CB, it appears they are actually developing his game in the developmental league. Working on his shooing mechanics including adding a 3 point shot to his game.
I'm thinking a year down there will be quite helpful. Can't wait to watch him next year.

Who will be remembered as the Celtics' Wally Pipp?

Poor Mickey, he is missing out on ROY.
