We have absolutely no incentive for losing this game. We've seen how tough this team can be when they bring it. Hopefully Smart is back to take turns with Bradley defending Curry. I have hope.

You stomp them into a mudhole and never look back.

remember in girls ball (Uconn probably can't remmeber) there was a girl that was a point away from a record and got hurt. They had here enter the game for a minute and the other team let her score to get the record and then they let them score to make it even. Letting a the GSW win would be up there with that.

it would cheapen the record.  let them earn it.

I don't get this one - of course I would beat them.

Why would I want to help them break a record?  Records should be respected.  If there is a record there to be broken, then the team should have to earn every bit of that.  To intentially let a team win so they can get a record defeats the purpose and subtracts meaning / significance from their achievement.

It's like if you are making a run to beat the 72 game win record, and you have tied that record at 72 games with one game left to play.

If the other team throws the game and LETS you win, then you didn't really win...the other team essentially forfeited.  You didn't earn anything.  The win would be a win on paper only, and would be without honor.

So Bret Favre letting Strahan get that sack means Strahan is not the sack leader in NFL?

I don't follow NFL nor do I care at all about it, so to be completely honest I have no idea what you are talking about lol

But if it helps to answer your question, anybody who takes any record by one only because that last one was handed to them, is not a worthy record holder.

So I'm going to assume my answer to that is 'no'.

Funnily enough, so do I.

One of our biggest strengths is our smothering backcourt defense, and Golden State's biggest strength is devastating backcourt offense.

Aside from Paul George (god knows why) we have also seemingly had a knack for shutting down great players this year (e.g. Cousins, Harden, Dwight).

If our backcourt can effectively slow down their one, then as crazy as it sounds...we actually have a shot at being the team.

Bet that would feel good for David Lee ;)

This is tough, but here's my take:

Beat GSW's behinds on Dec 11 - in BOS. THEN let them go on a 34 or however many game win streak ;D

After Dec 11, they can go on a winning streak all the way to June for all I care.

Got to beat em.

Then it's another feather in Celtics History .....taking down the team that could not be beaten

Be sure of this .....CBS craves a challenge like this .....CBS Luvs to be the underdog that brings down the giant .......he has earned his reputation as coaching UP to big challenges

The team will be sky high .

First, I think this question is absurd and hilarious.
Its highly unlikely  that we will have a chance to "let" GS win.
Odds are that they will roll us like they have the rest of the league.

If we do end up in position to close the game out and end the streak the team will do everything they can to win. I don't think anyone on the team will have even a fleeting thought about letting GS keep the streak alive.
