They didn't blow the game. The C's were super aggressive on D that first quarter, then the refs started to call every little tick tacky foul which took them out of it.
Right. I'm sure shooting 41% had nothing to do with anything.

The refs were bad for both teams. But they did ruin the game in the sense that they started calling everything and slowed the game way down and made it a lot less fun to watch.

The Celtics lost because they took their collective foot off the gas after they went up big in the first. Easy as that. They are not good enough to play at 90 or even 95%. The only way this team wins is consistent effort. Hopefully they learn from this game that a lead in the first quarter isn't a win.

You folks with your "The Celtics are not good enough" mentality should do what all good zombies do when confronted with a pick axe to the head....cease to exist!!!
Don't have a clue what you'll be saying when Boston wins 50+ this year.

Sorry, but they are not that talented. Doesn't mean they can't be good, just means they have to relay on playing great defense to overcome their lack of scoring.
They lack a go to scorer and the offense can get stagnant in the half court. They will win games with excellent d, steals, and hopefully rebounding.
Now I shall cease to exist, because I think they can win playing at less than full effort.

Amazingly Awful/Crooked reffing to get the Mavs into the game last night...
Especially the play where:

Bradley CLEANLY tips the ball away from Barea....Smart and Barea Both dive for the ball (where Barea actually fouls Smart)...and as Bradley goes for the loose ball---the Whistle Blows----and the foul is inexplicably called on Bradley......ONLY after Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle charges the floor towards the ref...WOW----one of the worst calls I've seen in a long time---I swear Bradley was on his way for the open layup before the whistle was blown.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

You know it's that BAD when fans of the opposing team are also noticing the phantom calls time and time again.

Excellent post----Glad to see that it was OBVIOUS to Mavs fans too---and look at all of our own fans on here, who tell us NOT to complain about the refs---weak-!

that's exactly the point I was trying to make!!! TP

Nice find ..... yeah I don't like the 'experts' here who think the Celtics are no good.
