You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Nets are 0-3. The magic number is 79!

Love it. 1, 11, 17, 19. Take 11, 17 and 19 and send them to Houston for the #9.

Too soon?

This sim beats League of Legends! I just rolled Celtics 1 via Brooklyn, and Celtics 2 via Boston.

Just ran it the first two times. The Brooklyn pick got pushed down to 5 and 6.... unbelievable!

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Brooklyn picks looking like gold. I'll be happy even with a top 5, even though it'll sting to know, we might've ended up with a top 3 if the lottery chances or ping pong balls turned into our lucky 'charms,' ;).

But lets not get too ahead of ourselves. We never know if the Nets might do something even stupider and bolder by taking a chance on a disgruntled player, and mortgaging whatever assets or young players they have for another ready to retire old Allstar.

Updated.

Tankathon is good, but my only gripe is that the order on tied teams is randomized.

I like Tankathon too...but I disagree with their Draft Power Rankings:

DRAFT POWER RANKINGS
1   Bos Boston   2, 11, 13, 18, 32, 36, 53, 59
2   Phi Philadelphia   1, 5, 23, 24, 39
3   Den Denver   7, 10, 15, 20
4   Sac Sacramento   3, 35, 57
5   Orl Orlando   6, 37, 45

In this scenario, I would rather have Philly's draft instead of Boston's.

Isn't that how the actual order of tied teams is determined?  Via coinflip?  I remember we lost one against Utah in the Smart draft; could've gotten Exum's offense and ACLs instead.

That would've been an interesting dilemma to have: Exum or Smart. I think it's fair to say that Smart has widely outperformed Exum so far, and I would like to think that Smart's work-ethic and character was a big reason they chose him over others. I would hope Danny would have still made the same decision and picked Smart.
