it is possible that rj fans sense something special in this kid
he gets press and the cameras like him,so does the coach
again yesterday my favorite  play was his box out  and rebound
i marveled at how rj made a basic play special and it was his enveloping reach that just came out of nowhere for a contested rebound
in his last game i mentioned my favorite play was an insignificent box out at edge of key that could have saved a long or bad bounce rebound -well it did last night
on one play games ago, i watched rj get blocked on break away  and wondered how he could have avoided that the next game he went under rim  to shield his shot
i watched recently, a pass for corner three it was low and to side and instead of forcing the shot, he up faked and went calmly baseline for a floater didn't go but he challeged defence and had hit the shot another night
,rj took a broken play and turned it into a nice play  as he let the play and options unfold, the shot didn't go but it was a bit of rookie magic

In short, the kid seems to have some serious court awareness.

Anytime you draft a guy 28th and can get a contributor (not even a starter), it's a win. I'm hugely encouraged by his play thus far - and I FREELY admit that I didn't want the guy prior to the draft. I was wrong.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

I recently wrote a topic that went unanswered about my thoughts on RJ. I would like to see this kid start a few games just to feed his ego. I think, if given the chance, he might be hard to take out of the starting line-up. I believe he has skills we haven't even seen yet.
