  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
17 points 9 assists. Numbers aren't hall of fame worthy, but the kid looks like an absolute stud out there. His vision/anticipation .....Wow.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Sacramento really dropped the ball with their pick.

Agree. I think Russell and Mudiay are going to draw Chris Paul-Deron Williams comparisons down the road.

So did the Lakers. Russell looks like a career bench player.

A negative assist/turnover ratio makes a statement in of itself.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Yeah.  I mean, that could mean he had less than zero turnovers, which is quite the statement!

OMG, 11 TOs?? I am sure he looked good, but that is just atrocious. How can there be a thread started about his stardom after a game like that?

Of note, Smart only had 1 TO.

He looks very comfortable in the highlight reel, but it mostly looks like Houston's defense was awful for the majority of the night.  First night sloppiness + Lawson-Harden'll do that (though he's being guarded by others at times).  And of course the highlight reel doesn't show any of his 11 turnovers.

this works too.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

As good as Smart was, I was left wanting more from him.

Mudiay was only one assist off a triple double... so close in his first game  ;D
