Rumors are he is trying to avoid cutting (all arrows point to PJ3) and instead trying to execute a trade.    Maybe include Sullinger and/or Turner?

The reality is, the team can't resign both Zeller and Sullinger. Then have to think about resigning KO etc.    Sullinger imo looks like the odd man out . Turner looks like has lost his starting SF role to Crowder and don't think he is part of the long term plan anyways

I think for example, if Danny can trade PJ3 and Sullinger for at least a 1st round pick plus a vet,  he will consider making a deal.

Likely. But Danny gave up a 2nd pick for the guy.  So he will try to not waste a pick for nothing.

If another team is kind of interested in PJ3 but then they ask for Sullinger also to seal the deal (lets say for at least a 1st), you wouldn't consider making a deal?

It's more or less the other way around triboy. OKC included a second round pick in the Jones deal. Technically the Celtics did give up a second round pick but its conditional, so that more than likely means the Celtics didn't lose anything in the deal.

Also, its a second round pick. I don't think Danny's going to lose any sleep over losing that.

Yeah I thought we earned a 2nd for taking PJ3's contract.  That's what made the "build the offense around PJ3" lunacy so funny.  The most likely scenario was always him getting cut.

I'm sure danny is trying to make a trade, even a minor one where we trade Jones for some salary to absorb and get a pick for it. if there is a 2 for 1 or 3 for 2 trade worth making danny will but I would be surprised to see anyone but Jones or Young traded before the season.
